About Me
Hi, my name is Cameron Churchwell, I'm a first year PhD student at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. I've been programming since fifth grade when I discovered the ComputerCraft mod for Minecraft.
Now I'm doing research in the field of neural speech editing with a current focus on pronunciation and prosody.
In my free time I work on ridiculous and (sometimes) useful side projects, play trombone (currently looking for groups), read, and play games with my friends.

Research
In undergrad I work in the Interactive Audio Lab lead by Professor Bryan Pardo.
My prior work with PhD Max Morrison focused on neural speech editing, specifically on creating better representations for pronunciation information and exploring controllable speech synthesis.
My main interests right now are controllable speech representations, speech editing, and using these technologies to assist people with speech sound disorders. I am also interested in music generation, phase reconstruction, and source separation.
